Vintage wooden puzzle hat block for milliners made in 90s.
This form is intended for the manufacture of men's hats with a visor. This is a hat block puzzle. Folds easily into five parts.
This hat block was used in a small atelier and shows signs of use. Made of linden and covered with yellow scotch tape. There is no scotch tape on the back and inside. There are enough many needle marks and small cracks. But a strong hat block. At the bottom of the hole for mounting. Closes on the back with two simple aluminum plates.
Dimensions folded about:
The height (in the highest place together with ears) is 13 cm (5,12"),
The dimensions at the bottom along across are (along the perpendicular lines without visor) - 18,5 x 18,5  cm (7,28"x 7,28").
The inner size at the extreme marks from the needles is about 50 cm.(19,69").
Net weight - 1770 grams.
