Vintage TYCO Chattanooga 2-8-0 HO Locomotive & Train Cars w/Track & Transformer

Description

For sale is a lot of vintage Tyco train cars, track, transformer, and a locomotive. Most of what is in this lot appears to have come from a Tyco Chattanooga Choo Choo train set, but there are other miscellaneous cars/parts as well. All but a couple cars appear to come in the original boxes. Most of the boxes are in rough shape with several missing the original cardboard inserts. The cars are mostly complete and in decent shape for their age. Only a few small broken or missing parts here or there. The locomotive has been tested and partially runs. It makes a frequent squealing noise when running. The gears seem to slip at times. The smoke function has not been tested. The locomotive will likely require servicing. The included power supply works, but fails to turn off or adjust the trains speed unless the lever is pressed down on slightly when the control is turned.
Please keep in mind that everything in this lot is over 40 years old. Everything here has likely seen moderate to heavy use through the years. All obvious condition issues are noted below. Although, it is very possible I may miss something small missing or broken. Everything is being sold as-is for parts/repair due to the issues with the locomotive and transformer.

Operating Crane Car and Boom Tender - crane car missing knob for operation and chimney broken and missing on boom tender

Gulf Tank Car - both trucks don't stay attached to car due to broken tabs, also missing both couplers
Gerber Reefer Car - complete
Ralston Purina Reefer Car - complete
Delmonte Box Car - complete
Old Dutch Cleanser Hopper Car - missing decorative brake wheel on end
Great Norther Flat Bed - originally carried 3 culverts (now missing) now has Union Pacific trailer
Tru-Steel Track Layout - complete with a few very small signs of rust
Bridge and Truss Set - complete
DC Transformer - complete
