Vintage TIBETAN Turquoise Inlay Red & Silver Beads Cowrie Shells WIDE BRACELET

Description

Impressive vintage handmade beaded bracelet from Tibet. Tapered band of flexible unknown material covered with black woven fabric. Front of bracelet completely covered with striking array of cowrie shells, dark red w/black markings beads of unknown material (no two exactly alike), and silver beads. Bracelet centered with large stone of inlaid turquoise in elevated silver mount. Hook clasp with extension links allows bracelet to be adjusted to size, as needed. Fabric lining is faded. Silver components darkened. Very good condition.
