Vintage Metal & Wood Letterpress Printing Block

Vintage Metal & Wood Letterpress Printing Block.
This item has been in my collection for years. I believe I purchased it from an Amish owned Antique Store in Lancaster, PA about a decade or so ago.
The block can be removed from the metal casing by loosening the screws. The face of the block is galvanized metal & the foundation of the block is wood. It is stamped on the back of the block with the manufacturer information, “KEN CRAFT MFG. 53 BATH ST. PROV., R.I. 02908”
There is a little bit of a ledge on the back of the casing so it is possible to display this item on your wall. However, I have always used it as a paperweight, in my office!
I have searched high & low for another item just like this one, to figure out an approximate age, but have been unsuccessful, thus far. I guess that makes this guy extra special!
