    Description

    This large old Wheel or gear foundry mold. It came from the
    Dickey Clay co in Pittsburg Ks.
    Founded in 1899 as the Pittsburg Paving Brick Company changed to Dickey Clay in 1910.
    The foundry used these molds in a sand casting process to produce cast iron molds. The molds were made by specially skilled craftsmen, whose precision woodworking, made perfect replicas of the cast iron piece
    for there machinery to make sewer pipe. Very large pattern measures 32" in diameter x 5 3/4" wide approx. Very bright color and solid.
