1960s (approx.)
Made of hand carved hardwood mounted onto a plywood panel.
~ 24" H x 18"W x 8"D
These amazing sculptural pieces are the ‘male’ form used to form the ‘female’ shape in the process of sand casting. Each one is hand cut and shaped, mounted onto a plywood panel, and painted with bright and contrasting colors to identify the different parts. The molds come from an unknown factory and were used to create the various steel parts for machinery.
They would be perfect as decorative objects on a shelf, a table, or hung directly on the wall.
