VINTAGE 60’s 70’s GENERAL ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL STEAM CHROME MID MODERN BOOKENDS

These are a piece of American Industrial History.
Made in the 60’s or 70’s by
GENERAL ELECTRIC
WOOD & PLASTICS
SCHENECTADY, NEW YORK
I could not find to much information about this division of General Electric other than it was the Steam division from
SCHENECTADY, NEW YORK.
So I am assuming that these are parts from a stem engine of some sort.
There is not another one that could be found on any selling platform or a extensive google search.
So this is a one of a kind set of Bookends that you will not find anywhere else.
These Bookends are very heavy made of solid steel with a Chrome exterior.
The wood base seems to be mahogany.
They both are in excellent condition, please see photos for condition and ask all questions prior to purchase.
