Southern Pacific Railroad Employees Daily/Hourly Work Journal 1941-1955

This is a work journal recording hours worked, pay stubs and what job was performed. The journal starts in 1941 and inside the front cover there is a letter enclosed. The letter, from his previous employer, letting him go as they heard he was looking for employment elsewhere.  What is quite unique about this collection is each pay stub up until 1953 was glued and daily record kept underneath. The log goes through the war period with stubs from that era as well. Very nice collection of a Railroad mans work out of the Eugene Oregon area with a complete pay record for his entire career with the railroad. The book cover itself is in poor condition, but the contents are in good condition. Nice piece for any Railroad collector.
