This item
consists of one, 5 x 8.5" paper receipt dated May 3, 1869. To the best of my ability it reads, "31 Bales of Goods for Denny Poor and Co. New York Via Nashua & Worcester to New London then by the Norwich Line of Steamers to New York. There is a bit more writing on the reverse but my Nikon refused to focus.
