    Mae Desmond (1887-1982)

In 1908 she married fellow actor Frank Fielder. In 1917 she formed her own company The Mae Desmond Players in Schenectady and performed in Elmira and New York City. Two years later she returned to Philadelphia and the Desmond Players attracted a loyal following as they continued to perform until 1932.
