Johnson Brothers Oregon Lewis & Clark 10¾" Souvenir Collector Plate
We are pleased to offer this lovely multicolored collector plate manufactured by Johnson Brothers China of England as part of their State Series. It pictures historical sites in the state of Oregon. It measures  10-3/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely Johnson Brothers souvenir plate that you are sure to want to add to your collection.

On the front it says State of Oregon 1859, State Capitol-Salem, William Clark, Bonneville Dam, Crater Lake, Meriwether Lewis, Celilo Indians and the big picture in the middle says Oregon city. On the back it reads, The Oregon Plate Data by Oregon Historical Society. Exploratory voyage by Captain Cook 1778. Robert Gray discovered Columbia River 1792. Lewis and Clark Expedition 1804-1808. Fort Astoria established 1811- Joint occupancy of Oregon Country by United States and Great Britain 1818. Provisional government established by settlers 1843. Oregon Boundary located at 49 degrees in 1846. Congress created Oregon Territory 1848. Governor Joseph Lane organized territorial government 1849. Oregon became a State 1859. Made expressly for the Meier&Frank Co. established in Oregon in 1857 Johnson Bros England.
