The
Imperial Glass Company
produced the pretty Laced Edge/ Katy Blue pattern. This is one of
Imperial's
most collectible Depression Era Glass patterns. This beautiful 4 1/2" bowl was meant to be used as a small berry, or sauce dish.   It is in
Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, it is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections.
This bowl has great color and opalescence.
Lace Edge is well documented in several good books.

The listing in this catalog is extensive and there are more pieces shown there than are listed in the Depression Glass Books. We show an Oleomargarine ad from the 1930s that pictures this striking bowl.  A set of three of these bowl's retailed for 60 cents. Of course if you bought enough Oleomargarine you could use your coupons and own them for free.  We acquired this ad with a set of Katy that we purchased and thought you might find it interesting
