    measuring 7" x 9" In this and other productions all female characters were played by male Harvard students in drag. The Harvard student actors in the photo are Charles Clark Macomber playing the male role of Spike and Barton Pikckering Jenks Jr playing the female role of Claire. Charles Clark Macomber also played end on the Harvard Crimson football team. He was also known as C C Macomber. He was a prominent member of the team and made All-American in 1922. Barton Pickering Jenks, Jr., whose father was a prominent Boston jeweler and silversmith, became a professor of Architecture.
