This is a rare glossy 8" X 10" inch press photograph of FANNY BRICE used to promote the upcoming musical "FUNNY GIRL" based on her life. The JULE STYNE and BOB MERRILL musical comedy "FUNNY GIRL" would open March 26th, 1964 at New York's Winter Garden Theatre, the "same theatre where Miss Brice enjoyed some of her outstanding successes." (The production would open March 26th, 1964 at the Winter Garden Theatre and run for 1348 performances.) ..... The musical marked the first starring role for BARBRA STREISAND as "Fanny Brice" and also starred SYDNEY CHAPLIN as "Nick Arnstein".
