    Description

    EXTRAORDINARY ASIAN LACQUER-CINNABAR BRACELET - CIRCA 1930 OR ANTIQUE
    This is old, still in really great condition.  Each link is slightly rounded to fit the wrist.  There are five, hand carved lacquer Cinnabar plaques.  The two on each side of middle are matching floral design and the center is a different floral design.  You can tell these are hand cut, after many layers of cinnabar because there are the very, very slight differences in the matching plaques.  Each is set in a snug frame, surrounded by a rope twist frame and that is surrounded by a spring-like frame.  The base metal has been decorated by intricate wire.  This was hand done in silver wire and is still in perfect shape.   The black color is deliberate to set off the red. Probably from China,  Vintage or antique jewelry in excellent condition. 1 1/16 wide, it is 7 inches and fits a medium to slightly larger wrist.  Gift box included
