Presented for your consideration is this interesting book on Netsuke. The book is titled, Contemporary Netsuke, and was written by Miriam Kinsey. It was published in 1977 by the Charles E. Tuttle Company in Rutland. The 261 page book gives a history of Netsuke and gives information on the different types of Netsuke and how to evaluate it. The book also highlights the carvers of the time and the different techniques that go into the art. Throughout the book there are different pieces of Netsuke identified. Each identified piece is photographed individually and in color with information about it printed either to the side or underneath the photo. All pages of the book are intact and free of damage. Finished with a hardcover and the binding is tight. Original dust jacket is all intact. The book stores inside of its original cardboard slipcover case. This neat book would be an interesting read for anyone interested in Netsuke!
There is some mild wear and light bending on the slipcase. Overall the book is in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
