    Description

    This is a  a fun advertising ceramic coffee mug from the High Desert Federal Credit Union. I don't know anything about this establishment but in searching I found there either is or was one in Victorville, California. In any case  it is a white mug with a dark mountain with sun behind it and the dark words "The best kept secret in the High Desert..."
    Then when you put hot liquid inside (I used boiling water) the mountain almost disappears and the words "High Desert Federal Credit Union" appear.  The original lettering becomes light and the credit union name is in dark letters. The sun becomes what appears to be their logo. This is 3 3/4" tall and 3 1/8" in diameter at the rim. Very good condition. A great mug to use and enjoy or to add to a collection.
