    Description

    An exceptional piece of Baltic amber jewellery.
    I have collected these hand cut ancient beads for quite some time until I had enough to create this necklace. The beads could be more than thousand years old. they are irregular hand cut and the amber shows patina and cracks, a sign of old beads.
    The larger beads are separated by Bali vermeil daisy spacers, the part of large beads and small beads is separted by 22 K gold over lac beads from India. Also the end beads are gold over lac.
    I have used an old Indian tassel clasp, creme colored silk with gold thread as clasp. Length is variable from 48 cm to opera length. I can also add a gilt sterling silver clasp instead of the old Indian tassel
    This is the second necklace from my collection, the first one was sold here beginning of this year

    Please  bear in mind that the majority of the beads and ethnic elements I use are OLD or ANTIQUE , even ANCIENT! The show wear and age. I usually mention any defaults in my descriptions but I can overlook a minuscule old chip or dent . As this has happened recently and resulted in a severe dispute with the buyer I want to point out again that I do not use NEW  material (except if stated) and that ethnic elements,  old jewelry parts, etc. might have very minor defaults NOT specially mentioned in the description. I do not accept this as a reason for  a return claiming that the item does not correspond to the description.
