Here is a really old wooden mold for making the wheels that went onto a Coke Quenching car. It is really fantastic and appears to have been entirely hand made.  Every individual piece is marked with the same number, 34869. It measures 13 inches in diameter, and has already been fitted with a metal picture hanger for displaying on the wall. The side with the hanger on it has six individual spoke like wedges surrounding the center. The wedges, along with some of the other pieces, have old rusty nails in them.  During the photo process, one of those spokes fell off and revealed that they are all wooden pegged. This is a great piece of early American industrial ingenuity!
