Offered for sale is an antique solid wood shoe mold used in the early 1800's by a shoe cobbler to stretch the leleather and add the sole. It measures 10" long x 3" wide and is in 2 parts. Study the pics to appreciate the patina and beauty. This shoe mold would be a fabulous conversation starter on a coffee table. Truly, an antique piece of history never to be repeated!This shoe mold still has tack holes where cobbler held the leather while making the shoes. This form predates the factories-probably 1800's era. In age appropriate used condition with typical wear & tear.
