Offered for your consideration is this Antique Set 10C Heavy Solid Maple Wood Shoe Last Form Stretcher Mold that Cobbler’s used many years ago for repairing & stretching shoes. Sometimes these solid wood shoes were used for old antique mannequin feet …to keep the full body size mannequins secure, stabilized & upright. They were also sometimes used just to display shoes & socks at a department or shoe store. There is a round opening in the top heel area that has an approx.. ½” diameter where it appears to have inserted onto a rod or a rope would go through it for them to hand as a set. There is also an approx. 1/2'” diameter round opening in the metal plate under the heel. The condition of the pair is fantastic, have the old desired patina on them & together weigh in at 3 lbs 9.1 oz. They measure 11-3/4" long x 3-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" high. This pair rests flat on a surface & they appear to be adjustable in the arch area. This particular pair displays very nicely, and is guaranteed to be old & authentic & original.
