ANTIQUE CAST IRON FOUNDRY PLATE
Interesting and unusual antique cast iron marker plate measuring 4-1/2" long by 2" deep. Marked in raised lettering K & B ASHLAND, O., it is pierced for mounting and condition is worn, primitive and rust with age. I found this when attending Ashland College in Ashland, Ohio back in the 1970s - I think there were several foundries or factories in the area and my guess would be it marked a piece of equipment. Visually interesting with a great industrial look, it would be a fun addition to any display!
