    Description

    This was a very difficult item to find details on on-line.  It's unbranded; only has 14 k mark and the grip is white enamel. In one case the seller did not commit to an age but the other 2 sellers are claiming they are early 20th century.
    It was amazing to see pictures of the real, life-size swords after which this pin was made. Looks like the real ones were
    Artillery Officers Swords from around 1820s.
    I found a picture of one with the white grip, the eagle shaped guard, and the eagle in bas relief on the cross guard, just like this pin, which was very exciting to find.
    It is in incredible condition.  It measures 3" in length (7.5 cm).
    Great gift for a civil war, sword, or weapon buff as well as a stick pin collector or simply anyone who appreciates a unique piece of jewelry.
