4-Piece Puzzle Block Millinery Hat Block Pouffy Cloche Size 21 ½ Round Hat Block

This is a nice one. Simple 3-piece puzzle block makes a pouffy-top cloche. the Fourth piece is placed to shape the inner crown. Classy
Size 21 ½  stamped on bottom.
The block is mounted on a 1 ¾ inch high block -- it's possible that there is a maker's mark under the base-block. (but why would a milliner want to take this beauty apart!).
There is a string-groove at the base of the hat.
I think the wood may be maple.
The height from the String-Groove to the highest part of top of the hat is about 6 7/8 inches. From the base of the block to same point is about 9 1/2 inches.
Circumference at the base, where the string-groove is about 22 5/8
Round base. The pouf top of the hat is set at a slightly jaunty angle.
Very Good Condition, dowel pin missing for the small top-crown mold. Lamination may be opening up a little bit
