“Porkpie” Topper Fascinator Block + Tipper + Extender

This listing is for a set of three millinery hat blocks to make a small fascinator with a “Porkpie-style” center and raised sides
The hat sits atop the head or at an angle on the head so fits most headsizes.
The
crown block
is a 1-piece
oval shape
fascinator block with a “
porkpie-style
” center and raised sides. The block measures about 5-7/8” from front to back and about 5” wide from side to side. It stands about 2-5/8” tall at the highest point and about 1 ¼” at the shortest point.
The
tipper block
is also
oval shape
and has a curved underside and used to help hold the felt in the hollowed tip of the crown forming a nice crease and shape to the hat.
The
extender block
comes with 3 string groove lines for easy blocking and allows you to make the hat taller - about ½” – 1” taller should you want.
Also included are
2 wood pegs
to hold the crown and extender blocks in place during blocking.
You can use this block in any direction – using either the taller or shorter side on the front or back of the head. Although oval in shape, the hat can also be designed at an angle. (See pictures).
Condition:
All 3 pieces are in excellent, like new condition showing little to no use. There are no chips, cracks, dings or other issues – no pin marks.
