Description

The Panda is minted by the People's Republic of China (PRC) and is a .999 silver bullion coin that was first minted in 1983. The 30 gram Panda is among the most popular coins for numismatic collectors and also minted in gold and (smaller) in several different sizes. This coin was one of the first 20,000 coins struck and minted in the Guobao (G) Mint in 2020. Except in 2001/2002 (when the panda was the same), the panda illustration on the front changes each year with a different panda or pandas and the reverse of the coin always features the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (built 1406-1420) in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. (Hey, I've been there!) The Mandarin symbols on the reverse say People's Republic of China. The diameter is 40 mm and the thickness is 2.98 mm. NGC graded it a MS 69 but I disagree. Its denomination, 10 Yuan, today was equal to .57 in U.S. currency. (Info here is from Wikipedia so if something is wrong tell me but blame its editors, not me). Shipped with USPS First Class.
