2 Vintage Bracket Arms Industrial Wood Patterns Foundry Molds Great Look!
These look to be like they were some stabilizing arm or bracket.
From bottom(triangular base) to top(round part) 5 3/8, and 6 1/8
on the other
The triangular ends are the same on each :  5 1/2" by 3 7/8 by 4 3/4
Today, there are almost no molds made anymore from wood.  They are either made from plastic stock or metal.
These molds are from an  age of days gone by, where most patterns were made from wood.
Pattern making is a  highly skilled trade that required a lot of handwork years aggo, now most everything is made with CAD CAM.  Pattern making required often working within 5/1000ths of an inch, and was one of the highest paid trades.

My father is winding down his 50 year pattern industry business, and this came from his pattern archives.
Specifically, I do not know what  these were for,  they are  old enough that no records were existing  to identify them.
These were the original wood molds, my fathers' business was subcontracted by a  foundry to make .
All wood, Mahogany, painted red.    My fathers' shop either left  their patterns natural wood, or  painted all red.
Any white film will come off, it was a buffer agent used at the foundry.  Some have coding, lettering ,  instructions from foundry etc,  in black pen, it comes off with lacquer thinner very easily if you want to remove it.
I packed these at the shop, they came out of  storage, we vacuumed them, removing lots of old sawdust and some grime, but they are still somewhat dirty,  I am mentioning this so that you do not open them up somewhere that you would not want dirty items on.
Overall  very nice condition, They both have a  3/32" thick  edge,  approx 1/4" wide, that runs around the perimeter of each pattern .  There is a 4" piece of it that was broken off on one side, it is not that noticeable nor distracting.
These will make a great wall decorations if you love industrial related items!
