2 Solid Pine Wood Patterns Great Looking, foundry casting molds painted silver

Solid Pine  patterns, these have some mass and weigh 20 pounds together
Smaller is Approx 17" by 9 1/2" by 5"  Larger is 17 3/8" by 12 3/4" 6 1/2" tall
Today, there are almost no molds made anymore from wood.  They are either made from plastic stock or metal.
This mold set  is from an age of days gone by, where most patterns were made from wood.
Pattern making is a  highly skilled trade that required a lot of handwork years ago, now most everything is made with CAD CAM machines.   Pattern making required often working within 5/1000ths of an inch, and was one of the highest paid trades.
My father is winding down his 50 year pattern industry business, and this came from his pattern archives.
These were  the original wood molds that  my fathers' business was subcontracted by a  foundry to make this original mold.
Molds are painted silver, and my 82 year old father just cant remember why these were silver, perhaps for some special run or process at the foundry Usually my fathers' shop either painted all red, or left natural wood
