These beautifully crafted  8 1/8" x 6 7/8" x 1 3/4" and  8 1/2" x 6" x 2 1/2"  master molds from a decorative arts studio features a solid block of maple into which has been carved  gothic-inspired designs to create plaster elements applied to walls or moldings.  Master molds functioned to produce the components to make other molds which produced the final product.  These master molds were painstakingly carved by the BEST craftsmen and highly valued. Both molds have factory design numbers painted on the ends and boast an overall, rich, use-polished patina.
