Description
Handsome colorful fold-out 1968 Clatsop County travel brochure.It is printed in booklet format, measuring 9" x 8", with 12 pages.
It is illustrated with color photos, including views of the Bumble Bee cannery in Astoria, Saddle Mountain, Clatsop Rodeo, Coffenbury Lake, Ecola State Park, Haystack Rock, the Lewis and Clark "Turn-Around," Fort Clatsop, the Miss Oregon Pageant in Seaside, and the U.S. 101 Bridge over the Columbia River.
There'a full-page county map showing main and secondary highways and locating towns and points of interest, including Cannon Beach, Jewell Junction, Gearhart, State Elk Refuge, John Day River, Lost Lake, Westport, Gnat Creek Fish Hatchery, Elsie, and Hammond.
The brochure folds to 9" x 4" and was published by the Astoria, Warrenton, Gearhart, and Seaside Chambers of Commerce and the Cannon Beach Commercial Club, circa 1968.
