  • Condition: These items were found inserted into a vintage clipboard and had been kept that way for many years. The investigation documents were kept folded, and they have some tears, chips, and a little streaking of the black ink. The time book has at least a couple loose pages, some soiling/staining, wear to the carbon paper, page and corner creases, rusty staples, and general wear. The orders and messages have soiling, creases, folds, chips, and edge wear/tears. The photo is severely creased and has tears, chips, soiling, and pencil writing. The clipboard has rust, several holes, and general wear/soiling.

    -Employee Time Book for an Engineer named Clarence Clements and his firemen (1945)
    -Investigation Documents concerning an accident between an engine and a box car in August 1943 (consists of statements from several men, including Clements, who was a Fireman at the time)
    -a photo of what I believe is the wrecked engine in the accident report
    -Train Orders and Messages, both handwritten and printed (1946)
    -Vintage Metal Clipboard from the Rockwell-Barnes Company
