    Description

1900s Antique Wood (Maple) Ladies Left Boot Shoe Form Last Sz 6 1/2 AA Vulcan 1259 Rare
Wow! what an amazing & rare piece; from Vulcan Corporation, which started in Ohio in the early 1900s, then moved to Crandon, Wisconsin in 1919 and then to Antigo, Wisconsin in 1925.  Antigo had a good supply of Maple trees, which was the preferred wood for shoe lasts. This definitely looks like one of their earlier shoe lasts as it looks like a ladies high heeled boot or "spat." There is metal on the heel and at the ball of the foot.  Has "VULCAN 12 59" on one side and "6 1/2 AA HI-FI" on the other in black ink.   This reminds me of the turn of the century high, lace up or button boots from that era!
