    Description

    This is a small light cardboard program for the February 27, 1890 "Evening with Longfellow."  It was created by the Court Street School of Astoria, Oregon.  The students read poetry, information about Longfellow's biography with music by the orchestra.  The program has 4 pages held together with its original frayed blue ribbon.  It is 5 & 1/4" by 3 & 3/4" with the bottom corners gone and a little glue and paper residue on the back.  A real survivor!
